Your mind is one of the most important “muscles” to hone, train and improve but how often do you make this part of your weight-loss or workout plan?
In my program, I like to teach clients that to push your body toward its potential, your mind must be strong. Strong enough to fight off the negative factors that can stifle your ability to focus and push your body to new heights, be it poor eating habits, lack of an exercise routine, a decaying relationship or self-sabotaging behavior.
You often hear me say: “Put your brain in your butt.” (Or any muscle for that matter.) What I mean by that is, use your mind to engage your muscles. Don’t go on autopilot following my step-by-steps, number of reps and sets. In the moment of exercise, your mind may direct you to do more or less, or to twist your body in whole different way. Access your instincts and allow your body to do great things.
The same principle applies to eating. There’s always a choice to be made. Think about what you are feeding your body. Let a strong and informed mind be your guide.
As you progress through your wellness journey, I challenge you to maximize your potential by asking yourself:
• Is your brain awake as you exercise? Can you feel the muscle being worked?
• Have you stopped counting the number of times you lift a weight and instead are you focusing on muscle exhaustion?
• Have you altered an exercise because you felt it would be more effective?
• Are you mindful when you eat, tasting the food, paying attention to your feelings of fullness – or are you unconsciously eating?
• Did you go to sleep earlier because you felt you needed the extra rest?
• Did you end a negative relationship because it no longer gave you the sense of support and strength that you needed?
From here, write down bite-size goals for where you want to go. Step by step you will get there. I believe in you!

I wonder if you can show/write the best exercises for teenagers to do and what to eat for a healthier life and for a nicer body.
It would be very nice of you. Thanks! :)
