I don't have a question, but I have a comment! I've been doing David's Ultimate NY Body Plan for 2.5 weeks now. I'm a thin person, but I wanted to lose a few excess pounds. I ended up having a benefit far greater than weight loss, my skin cleared up! I'm 25 years old and I've had acne in various forms since I was 11. I can't remember seeing my skin as clear as it is right now since I was in grade school. It actually GLOWS. I don't know why or how it happened, but the plan must have had something to do with it. Perhaps the removal of toxins from my system? Anyway, thanks so much for helping me like what I see in both a full-length mirror and a make up mirror!

For the past 20 years I have been struggling with losing weight and have spent thousands of dollars on pretty much every diet plan that existed. I have to say that David Kirsch's Ultimate NY Body Plan is the most effective diet I've ever been on and the best two week investment have ever made . In two weeks, I dropped ten pounds, lost 6% body fat, lost 4 inches from my waist, 2 inches from my chest, and an inch each from my arms, thighs, and hips. I also dropped from a size 12 jeans to a size 8.
This program is so empowering because you can do it on your own. With the book and dvd, it almost felt like having David Kirsch in my own home. For the two weeks, I lived and breathed this program. I prepared my own food, ate 5 times a day and exercised 1 to 1-1/2 hours a day.The workouts were challenging but the end result was so worth it.Watching my body change daily before my eyes was so motivating.
Although this diet is high in protein and low in carbs, this is not the Atkins diet. You eat lean meats, get all of your carbs from veggies,and cut sugar,alcohol, and fat from your diet. I felt full the whole two weeks and the recipes in the book were quite tasty. I didn't feel deprived at all. I was also very addicted to David's delicious protein shakes and his orange flavored vitamin supplements. To this day, I still have them everyday and I consider them my treats. Yes, I missed my oatmeal, rice, and fruit, but they get reintroduced during the maintenance phase. I also don't have any more sugar cravings,which is amazing considering I've always had a weakness for cakes, cookies, ice cream, and other sweet treats. I'm on my third week of maintenance and I'm still losing weight. Also, I'm proud to say that I'm now wear a size 6 jeans.
What's two weeks? Basically nothing compared to the benefits you reap for a lifetime. Thank you David for this wonderful opportunity. I'm forever grateful!

The Ultimate New York Body Plan did for me, in 2 weeks, what a year and a half of exercising and "dieting" on my own didn't do. Even with an injured foot, I stuck to the rigorous daily exercise, which surprisingly, I came to look forward to every day. I had never used a stability ball or light dumbbell weights, and I really enjoyed it. It also gave me a new sense of balance and the exercised were new and fun.The diet was very strict. I won't kid you. But--it was only for 2 weeks. I had bought and read at least half a dozen other "fitness/diet"books before I met David Kirsch and his Body Plan. I never finished any of them, I never achieved anything with any of them and I was hesitant that this would be the case here. However, it wasn't... and I lost 8lbs. and 3 1/2 inches on my waist--in 2 weeks! My husband calls me"skinny" and my toddler calls me "skinny mama". I am now so close to achieving my pre-pregnancy weight and I am very excited. If I can do this with an injury and a "bendable" will power, any one can.

I had an experience today that I wanted to share with all of you. I went to the Mall today for the big Nordstrom's sale. I picked up a pair of jeans in a size 10 and an 8 just to see... I used to wear 14/12 (for 2 1/2 years). This was the first time I had gone shopping since I had gotten on the program.
I went to the fitting room and tried on the 10, cake. Then I put on the 8 and it fit so nice and snug. I started crying in the dressing room. I haven't been an 8 since before I had even met my husband. I called him on my phone ecstatic (the women in the dressing rooms next to me must have thought I was crazy!)
I haven't been following the diet strictly, just being sensible in what I eat and exercising as much as I can. And I feel great and I just wanted to tell everyone what a life altering experience this has become.
